The Art of Still Life

Art demonstration by Susan McFarlane 

Enjoy an afternoon in the Art Club’s art nouveau Gallery with Susan McFarlane and watch and listen to her creating a still life painting.  Born and raised in Glasgow, her art practice revolves around describing her feelings about the world, family members, landscape and still life.  Working predominantly from first hand source, Susan uses traditional Fine Art media; painting, drawing and printmaking.

Susan will paint directly from observation; and demonstrate composition, colour mixing and brushwork with oil paint.
