Set sail on an illustrated voyage. Glasgow had ‘the Freedom of the River from Broomilaw to the Clochstane’ to the oceans and international trading with every continent. Even though it was only 15 inches deep in the town at low tide. Glasgow became the greatest seaport in Scotland, with 12 miles of busy docks and quaysides, and the world centre of shipbuilding. ‘Glasgow made the Clyde, and the Clyde made Glasgow.’
Travel though time, making the Clyde deep and useful, nourish invention, science, technology and education, start major shipping companies, engineering industries and shipbuilding of international renown. And regeneration when required.
