Glasgow’s annual Blythswood Festival brings together major venues of international status showcasing art, music, heritage and design, and a remarkable history of innovation and development.
With the Glasgow Blythswood Festival 2026 – which runs from Friday 1st-17th May – new Blythswood Festival Awards each of £1,000 are offered for your use which you can apply for in any of four sectors, as shown below. Applications are welcome from individuals or from groups based in Greater Glasgow and surrounding counties, to help your own initiatives and ideas in the same enterprising spirit as the city’s Blythswood. Likewise, the awards can recognise achievement already made. The funding is thanks to a private trust. Application can be made below.
Entries will be assessed by a panel which includes key partners of the Blythswood Festival committee, and the Awards Ceremony will be on Tuesday 12th May in the prestigious Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow when the Festival will be in full swing.

To enter, please complete the application form below (and keep a copy for yourself) highlighting which sector category you are applying for and fully complete each section. Then submit it when finished. All applications will be acknowledged.
It is possible to apply for a Blythswood Festival Award 2026 in more than one category, but please make a separate application according to category.
